This Coventry City centre Period Property was once the home Of Alderman Dalton Mercer Mayer of Coventry, Whose GHOST was documented as appearing at St Michaels Coventry  Cathedral, two nights before his funeral, walking down the aisle and disappearing in to his family chair where he served as church warden. This story made front page news in the Coventry Standard in January 1898. But the haunted tales don't stop there with the very ground the house was built upon having a dark past. and even today many sightings have been reported of strange shadows and figures within the club.
